Wheel Valve Spanners also known as Wheel Wrenches or Valve Keys, are manufactured to aid the turning of valve wheels used in the Petrochemical, M.O.D. Oil, Water and the Gas Industry. We supply these in the followiing sizes:- 8" 12" 18" 24" 36"
All spanners are supplied in a black powder coating. We can provide other colours on request. Please contact us for more information.
A lot of Valve Keys on the market are welded. We have seen extra bar welded on to the end of handles, a cheap way to make a larger key, Heads made up of welded hooks and supports due to lack of forging equipment. Incorrect fusion in the weld using this method leads to cracks in the material. A broken spanner is one thing an accident is another.
All our spanners are one piece. 8" and 12" are drop forged. 18", 24", and 36" are hand forged,
